The Vision.

Design Current was created to offer a different kind of experience… one where professional growth and personal enjoyment exist together, not in competition.

This is a space for designers to step away from the day-to-day and engage more intentionally… to think more clearly, learn at a higher level, and connect with others who are equally invested in their business and craft.

At the same time, it’s designed to be experienced… to enjoy the setting, explore new places, and allow space for rest and reset.

  • Every part of Design Current is designed with a thoughtful balance of focused learning with moments that allow the experience to unfold naturally.

    From structured sessions and curated conversations to social events, small group moments, and time to spend exploring each destination… the experience is built to feel both valuable and enjoyable.

  • Design Current is designed for interior designers who are serious about their business and ready to level up.

    The group is intentionally limited to create an experience that feels aligned, engaged, and worth being in… surrounded by others who are focused on refining their business, elevating their process, and continuing to grow.

    Attendees should be ready to take advantage of mixing learning with a bit of vacation.

  • Design Current is thoughtfully structured but not overly so.

    There is space to explore each destination, to relax and reset onboard, and to engage in conversations and collaborative moments as they happen. You can step fully into the experience or take time for yourself when needed… enjoying the amenities, dining, and entertainment at your own pace.

    Whether attending on your own, with a loved one, or alongside a team member, the experience supports both how you work and how you recharge.

Pricing for Design Current is based on double occupancy, giving you the flexibility to experience the retreat in a way that works best for you.

You’re welcome to room with your design bestie, bring a teammate, or even turn this into a shared experience with a partner, friend, or family member. Guests who would like to attend the retreat sessions and events may do so by adding the Design Current retreat fee. Your guests who prefer to simply enjoy the cruise are welcome to join without participating in the retreat programming.

For those looking to make it a larger getaway, there are options for third and fourth guests, making it easy to extend the experience into a full vacation.

Your Questions, Answered

  • This retreat is best for Interior Design Business Owners who have a few years under their belt and are looking to level up their business systems, processes, client experience, and marketing.

  • Design Current is formatted to be the ideal mix of vacation and professional development with seminars and sessions only on Sea Days. All days at port are your opportunity to do as much or as little as you want!

  • We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. It’s not just what we do—it’s how we do it that sets us apart.

  • All staterooms are priced for Double Occupancy. Guests have the option to book with another designer and both attend the sessions or bring a partner, family member, or friend who can spend time vacationing while you are in the sessions! Due to this we have made the fee to attend the retreat sessions a separate cost!

  • Due to the way cruise fares work, those attending solo have the option to pay for the total stateroom cost or we can add you to a list of solo travelers and allow you to partner up.

    It is highly suggested that you room with another designer or bring your own guest!

  • Excellent! Those considering bringing a third and fourth guest to stay in their state room can coordinate that with our Travel Advisors!

  • Booking directly through Celebrity will not tie your reservation into our block. It is best to fill out the form on the Inquiry page and our Travel Advisors will help you! They know the ins & outs of the event and will be the best to make sure you are booked correctly!

  • Your cruise fare will include your stateroom for two, basic WiFi, the Classic Drink Package, and access to all the ports we will be sailing to.

    Those who add the Retreat fee will be able to attend the 8 Guest Speaker sessions and the Q&A Panel as well as any special get togethers we plan!
